Job Description

Erzieher oder Heilerziehungspfleger (m/w/d) | Prien am Chiemsee, Germany | On-site

We are hiring for a leading national psychosomatic and internationally recognized hospital group known for its academic partnerships and comprehensive patient care. Join a team dedicated to providing top-tier therapy to adults and adolescents.

The Role

  • Organize and structure the daily hospital routine, ensuring a smooth workflow for patients and the team.
  • Facilitate co-therapeutic discussions, picking up on and deepening themes from individual or group therapies.
  • Provide crisis intervention as the first point of contact, offering competent support in acute situations.
  • Lead therapy groups focused on relaxation techniques, mindfulness, social skills, or skill training.
  • Support patients with eating disorders during meals, promoting a healthy relationship with food.
  • Participate in shift work to ensure continuous care and support for patients.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training as an Erzieher (Educator) or Heilerziehungspfleger (Heilpädagoge / Special Needs Educator).
  • Ideally, experience in psychosomatics/psychiatry or residential care for individuals in living and group homes.
  • Strong communication, teamwork skills, and a passion for the work.
  • A respectful, professional, and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
  • Curiosity for new topics and a commitment to professional development.
