Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

• San Jose / Rancho Cordova, CA – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to support the Corporate Consolidation team on a six-month contract. This role will be responsible for managing the monthly close and consolidation process while supporting the implementation of the Tagetik Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, corporate consolidations, intercompany accounting, ERP/EPM implementations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Tagetik EPM platform, including business process design, UAT, system validation, issue resolution, and post-deployment support.

• Ensure accounting results and system configurations comply with U.S. GAAP.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and implementation partners to resolve accounting and system-related issues.

• Review and monitor intercompany journal entries within SAP and supporting systems.

• Investigate and resolve intercompany reconciliation discrepancies across multiple legal entities.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.

• Maintain foreign exchange rates for accurate currency translation and financial consolidation.

• Prepare consolidation schedules and supporting documentation.

• Support internal and external audits and SOX compliance activities.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations.

• Assist with management reporting, statutory reporting, and special accounting projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 8+ years of progressive Corporate Accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Corporate Consolidations, Intercompany Accounting, Foreign Currency Accounting, and Topside Journal Entries.

• Experience working within multinational organizations and multiple legal entities.

• Hands-on experience supporting ERP/EPM implementations, including UAT and system validation.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and financial systems.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, financial analysis).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Public Accounting experience.

• Experience with Tagetik EPM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting, or other Corporate Consolidation/EPM platforms.

• Experience supporting Finance Transformation or ERP implementation projects.
