Job Description

HR Advisor | Financial Services

City | 5 days office based

£50,000 - £55,000


Meraki Talent is working with a global financial services organisation looking to recruit a HR Advisor to support the EMEA region.


You will have experience supporting some jurisdictions across EMEA, in a generalist capacity at an advisory level. You will partner closely with managers and employees to deliver high quality HR support and ensure compliance is met and contribute to a positive employee experience.


The successful candidate will have proven experience managing onboarding and offboarding processes, advising on UK immigration and visa-related matters, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business. HR Responsibilities

  • Manage and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle across EMEA, including:
  • Onboarding and induction coordination
  • Employee changes and documentation
  • Performance and employee relations support
  • Offboarding and exit processes
  • Ensure all HR administration and employee records are accurate and maintained in line with company policies and GDPR requirements.
  • Support managers and employees with HR policies, procedures, and best practice guidance.
  • Act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees on a wide range of HR queries.
  • Build strong working relationships with line managers and establish credibility through professional, pragmatic, and solution-focused support.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
  • Provide support and guidance on UK immigration processes and visa-related queries.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience initiatives.
  • Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Assist with HR projects and regional initiatives across EMEA as required.
  • Promote consistency and best practice across HR operations.


Person Specification

  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD certification.
  • Proven experience in a HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role, with a EMEA capacity
  • Experience managing onboarding and offboarding processes across multiple countries within EMEA.
  • At least 4 years experience in HR.
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting UK immigration and visa-related processes and queries.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with line managers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to HRIS systems such as Workday, BambooHR, or SuccessFactors.
  • Additional EMEA employment law knowledge.
