As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside world-class electrophysiologists and healthcare professionals, performing life-saving procedures like ablations, device implants, and advanced diagnostics.\nJob Summary and Qualifications\nWhat you will do in this position:\n\n\n You will assist in all procedures performed in the EP area.

The EP Technologist requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology in a safe patient care.\n You will demonstrate an expert knowledge of radiological equipment and safety, shielding techniques, expert imaging skills and X-ray equipment trouble-shooting skills, analyzing, 3D mapping and recording equipment and other equipment utilized in the Electrophysiology Lab, and performs unit-based activities, which contribute to a positive and professional work environment.\n You will demonstrate the ability to function in all of the positions with the exception of nursing.

Essential information is shared through documentation and verbal communication.\n\n\n\n\nWhat qualifications you will need:\n \n \n Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology is required\n One year of Cath Lab experience, performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures highly preferred\n \n \n Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date\n Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date\n (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date\n \nBenefits\nMemorial Health University Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
