Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an actuarial professional with 2-4 years' reserving experience to join a growing business and gain exposure to a broad range of specialty classes.
You'll work closely with experienced actuaries, underwriters and finance stakeholders, playing a key role in the quarterly reserving process and contributing to business-critical decision-making.

The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the quarterly reserving process across multiple syndicate classes.
- Performing reserve analyses and investigating movements in reserving results.
- Assisting with the production of reserving reports for senior management.
- Supporting Solvency UK, regulatory reporting and audit requirements.
- Working closely with underwriting teams to understand portfolio performance and emerging experience.
- Contributing to reserving methodology enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
- Supporting data analysis and reserving model development.
- Collaborating with the wider actuarial team across reserving, capital and pricing activities where required.
- 2-4 years of actuarial experience, with prior exposure to general insurance reserving.
- Experience within the Lloyd's and/or London Market is highly desirable.
- Progressing through the actuarial exams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable communicating technical findings to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience using Excel and actuarial modelling tools; knowledge of SQL, Python or R would be advantageous.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
