Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

·        Design end-to-end solution and integration architectures for enterprise applications and platforms.

·        Define integration strategies, interfaces, data flows, security patterns, and technical standards.

·        Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and other enterprise integration patterns.

·        Develop and support Python-based services, automation, and microservice-oriented solutions.

·        Work with PostgreSQL databases, including data models, integration requirements, and migration considerations.

·        Design secure authentication and single sign-on integrations using standards such as SAML and related identity technologies.

·        Collaborate with identity platforms such as Okta and support enterprise identity and access requirements.

·        Develop and maintain API specifications and documentation, including OpenAPI where applicable.

·        Support SOAP and legacy integrations where required as part of enterprise modernization.

·        Design solutions for scalability, high availability, reliability, and maintainability.

·        Evaluate cloud hosting and deployment options and align solutions with enterprise cloud architecture standards.

·        Support migration and modernization initiatives, including legacy-system integration and data mapping.

·        Create architecture documentation, integration specifications, workflows, and technical diagrams.

·        Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, database teams, security teams, and project leadership.

·        Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide root-cause analysis and technical recommendations.

Required Qualifications

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

·        8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise IT systems and integration solutions.

·        Strong experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based solution architecture.

·        Strong Python development experience, including services, automation, or microservices.

·        Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.

·        Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.

·        Experience with OpenAPI and API documentation.

·        Experience with SOAP or other legacy enterprise integration technologies.

·        Experience with SAML, SSO, and enterprise identity integrations.

·        Experience with Okta or comparable identity and access-management platforms.

·        Experience with data migration, data mapping, and legacy-to-modern platform integration.

·        Understanding of high availability, scalability, security, and database performance considerations.

·        Strong technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Cloud architecture certification such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

·        Experience with enterprise modernization and legacy application transformation.

·        Experience designing multi-tenant applications or portals.

·        Experience with workflow automation.

·        Experience with government or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
