Job Summary

• Part marks and identifies all parts per work order and/or customer specifications; attention to details is a must.
  
• Packages parts for stock and/or shipment.
  
• Closes out work orders as needed.
  
• Maintains stockroom.
  
• Prepares parts for shipment; i.e. Pull items from daily lists, validate counts, assemble wooden and cardboard boxes.
  
• Insert parts into shipping containers with the proper paperwork and proper labels.
  
• Maintains and executes daily cycle counts in finished goods warehouse.
  
• Maintains a clean work area/environment (6s).
  
• Operates hand-truck to move parts to stock and distribute items as needed.
  
• Performs other duties and assignments as directed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to operate a hand truck to move parts
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mylars (preferred).
  
• Read and understand internal procedures and policies.
  
• Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions
  
• Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
  
  

Required Experience and Education

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business
• Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience in quality management with supervisory experience, including military, where applicable, and commercial customers
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
  
• Basic math skills
  
• Basic Computer Skills - able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistance
  
• Must be detail oriented
  
• Must be accurate
  
• Must be action oriented
