What you’ll bring

This placement is for a penultimate-year student from any degree discipline with an interest in how businesses operate and improve. You’re curious, collaborative, and a clear communicator — someone who thinks creatively and tackles complex problems head on.

  • A genuine interest in how businesses operate and how they can run more efficiently.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and you’re comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
  • Naturally analytical - you spot patterns in data and think practically about process improvement.
  • Effective time management - you work to deadlines and handle competing priorities without losing focus.
  • A collaborative approach, you build good working relationships and adapt your communication style to different audiences.
  • An open mindset toward AI and you’re willing to experiment, collaborate with AI tools, and take responsibility for the outputs you produce.

What you’ll build

You’ll join a business operations team working on the processes and insights that drive decision-making across SAP UK. From day one, you’ll take ownership of real tasks and deliver work with direct impact.

  • Analyse data and performance metrics to surface trends and deliver insights to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis using established systems, including SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes across the team.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business priorities and deliver practical recommendations.
  • Support the automation of routine reporting tasks, freeing up time for higher-value work.
  • Explore how AI-powered tools are transforming business operations and apply what you discover in your work.

Where you belong

SAP UK’s 13-month placement programme puts you inside a team where operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making are central to how work gets done. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals who will challenge and support you throughout. When you join SAP, you’ll be a part of SAP Next Gen,  a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programmes, and peers. This placement is based at our Feltham office, with exposure to how enterprise AI is transforming business operations.
