Job Description: We're seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You'll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. Job Type: Part-Time (10 Hours)
Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday 1pm-5pm, Friday 1:30pm-5pm & potential every or every other Sunday (8am-10am)
Work Location: In-Person / Client Home/Daycare - Chesapeake VA 23320
Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with children
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
- Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
- Implement behavior-based treatment plans
- Educate parents on classroom support techniques
- Ensure safety and quality care for clients
- Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
- Maintain training materials and supplies
- Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience with children and strong people skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
