Job Description

We are seeking a CrowdStrike EDR Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CrowdStrike Falcon administration, endpoint security across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments, and enterprise sensor deployment and a proven ability to audit configurations, optimize platform effectiveness, and resolve complex endpoint security issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of CrowdStrike Falcon, including policy configurations and sensor deployments.


• Generate detailed reports on findings, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement, and support implementation and monitoring of changes.


• Own installation, implementation, maintenance, administration, availability, and performance of CrowdStrike Falcon components.


• Manage deployment, health, and monitoring of Falcon sensors across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud endpoints; troubleshoot sensor installation and communication.


• Configure and manage prevention policy settings to align with organizational security posture.


• Provide incident support via the help desk and collaborate with Security Analysts and Incident Responders for detection, investigation, and response.


• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices.


• Collaborate within the Endpoint team to resolve EDR tickets, share knowledge, communicate status, and ensure timely, accurate resolutions.


• Partner with IT, Network, and System Administration teams to integrate security solutions with enterprise infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive cyber and IT security knowledge.


• Expert-level knowledge of the CrowdStrike EDR platform and best practices.


• Expert-level knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems and security features.


• Experience deploying and maintaining CrowdStrike in large enterprise environments, including cloud-hosted endpoints.


• Strong understanding of network protocols and host-based firewalls.


• Proven ability to document processes and configurations clearly.


• Demonstrated influence and communication skills, tailoring concise messages to audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting end users and server owners through enterprise help desk processes.


• Collaboration experience with Security Operations, IT, Network, and Systems teams.
