Job Description

Payrate: $48.00 - $48.00/hr.
Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting artificial intelligence and data analytics efforts by building machine learning models and collaborating with stakeholders for their implementation and deployment. The role involves interacting cross-functionally with various teams to deliver scientific data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities

Build machine learning models through the integration of multiple data sources.
Leverage large datasets to conduct end-to-end analytics, including data gathering, processing, analytics, and presentations.
Develop, maintain, and enhance data pipelines, curated datasets, analytical data products, and reporting layers using Python, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms.
Build dashboards and visual analytics to monitor performance, manufacturing status, inventory, supply risk, supplier performance, procurement activity, and operational trends.
Apply statistical and analytical methods to identify patterns, generate insights, and improve business decision-making.
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify business problems, and deliver analytical solutions.
Integrate and analyze structured and unstructured data from various enterprise systems.
Automate recurring reports and data preparation activities to improve efficiency and accessibility.
Support the design and implementation of scalable data models and architecture.
Ensure data governance, quality, documentation, validation, and data lineage practices.
Communicate findings, recommendations, and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Follow best practices for code development, dashboard design, data management, and solution sustainability.

Qualifications

Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, regulated manufacturing, or another complex operational environment.
Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, analytics, and model development.
Strong SQL skills, including queries, joins, aggregations, data transformation, and working with large datasets.
Experience developing dashboards or visual analytics using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Experience with cloud databases or cloud data platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar technologies.
Experience with data engineering processes, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data integration, data quality, orchestration, and version control.
Ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Skills

Knowledge of comprehensive data analytics and modeling methods, including unsupervised and supervised approaches, and their application to biotechnology processes.
Familiarity with large datasets, data mining, and machine learning tools.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence applications.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Independent, self-motivated, and organized with strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
Team player, prepared to work in and embrace a team-based culture that relies on collaboration for effective decision-making.
Familiarity with DevOps and good software practices, including version control, continuous integration, and test-driven development.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $48.00 - $48.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
