Application Security Architect

Edward Jones seeks an Application Security Architect to design, implement, and govern secure application architectures for a leading finance and insurance firm. In this role, you will define security standards, integrate security into SDLC and DevOps pipelines, conduct threat modeling and secure code reviews, and guide teams in remediating vulnerabilities across cloud and on prem applications. You'll partner with engineering, risk, and compliance to ensure regulatory alignment and client data protection. Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure application and cloud architectures
• Define and enforce application security standards and best practices
• Integrate security controls into SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
• Perform threat modeling and application security risk assessments
• Conduct secure code reviews and oversee vulnerability remediation
• Collaborate with engineering, risk, and compliance teams on security requirements
• Align application security with regulatory and industry standards
• Provide security guidance, mentoring, and training to development teams
