Location : Remote + 3 weeks onsite at client location Norwalk, CT

Duration : 2+ Months

• We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP Trainer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and foundational Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to design and deliver comprehensive end-user and super-user training programs.
• This is a hands-on, onsite training role in Norwalk, Connecticut. The successful candidate will translate complex SAP business processes into practical, easy-to-understand learning content and deliver engaging classroom sessions, hands-on exercises, system demonstrations, and post-go-live support.
• The ideal candidate will have strong functional experience in SAP S/4HANA Procurement/P2P, working knowledge of EWM, and the ability to explain cross-functional integration with SAP FICO, SD, and PP to business and operational users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery & User Enablement

• Deliver engaging, role-based Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and hands-on workshops for end users and super users.
• Conduct classroom demonstrations and process walkthroughs using SAP Fiori Launchpad and SAP GUI.
• Explain SAP processes in a simple and business-friendly manner.
• Conduct hands-on exercises and system simulations based on real-world business scenarios.
• Support users during post-go-live hypercare, including coaching, issue triage, and adoption support.
• Identify common user challenges and provide practical guidance to improve system adoption.

2. Training Content & Curriculum Development

• Design and develop structured training programs based on business roles and process requirements.
• Create and maintain:
• Quick Reference Guides (QRGs)
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Trainer presentations
• Exercise workbooks
• Hands-on training scenarios
• User guides and job aids
• Develop role-specific learning journeys for:
• Purchasing Agents
• Warehouse Clerks
• Inventory Managers
• Accounts Payable Clerks
• Other procurement and warehouse users
• Build and maintain master-data and transactional scenarios in the S/4HANA 2023 training environment/sandbox.
• Update training materials based on system changes, user feedback, and lessons learned.

3. Core SAP Functional Expertise

SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

• The trainer should have strong knowledge of the end-to-end P2P process, including:
• Purchase Requisitions (PR)
• Purchase Orders (PO)
• Source Determination
• Operational Sourcing
• Purchase Order processing
• Goods Receipt / MIGO
• Invoice Verification / MIRO
• Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS)
• Supplier Master / Business Partner (BP)
• Material Master
• Purchasing and release strategies
• Inventory management
• Three-way invoice matching

SAP EWM Basic / Foundational

Hands-on or strong functional knowledge of basic SAP EWM processes, including:

• Inbound processing
• Outbound processing
• Putaway
• Warehouse Task execution
• Internal warehouse movements
• Stock transfers
• Physical Inventory
• Cycle Counting
• Basic outbound staging
• Warehouse Monitor navigation
• Integration between EWM and S/4HANA

4. Cross-Functional Integration

The candidate should be able to clearly explain how P2P and EWM processes integrate with other SAP modules.

Required Qualifications

SAP Experience

• 6+ years of SAP functional consulting, implementation, or training experience.
• At least 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or major rollouts.
• Experience across SAP S/4HANA versions ranging from 1709 through 2023.
• Strong hands-on understanding of SAP procurement and supply chain processes.

S/4HANA Experience

• Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA 2023.
• Understanding of S/4HANA process changes, innovations, and user experience.
• Experience using SAP Fiori applications and SAP GUI for procurement and SCM processes.

P2P Expertise

• Strong end-to-end knowledge of SAP Procure-to-Pay.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, sourcing, inventory, supplier/business partner, and invoice processes.
• Ability to demonstrate and explain SAP transactions and business processes to end users.

EWM Knowledge

• Solid understanding of basic SAP EWM functionality.
• Knowledge of inbound/outbound delivery integration.
• Understanding of warehouse tasks, stock movements, putaway, inventory, and basic warehouse operations.

Training & Communication

• Proven experience delivering SAP training to end users, super users, or business teams.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to simplify complex SAP concepts for non-technical users.
• Strong classroom management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to develop clear and user-friendly training materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification in Procurement, EWM, or a related area.
• Experience supporting SAP go-live and hypercare activities.
• Experience developing SAP training curriculum from the ground up.
• Experience working with large-scale SAP transformation or rollout programs.
• Experience training users across multiple business functions.
• Strong understanding of integration between P2P, EWM, FICO, SD, and PP.
