Retail Sales Department Manager

Boscov's Department Store is seeking a Retail Sales Department Manager to lead our Cosmetics & Jewelry departments. In this on-site role, you will drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure an inviting, well-merchandised environment. Responsibilities include leading and coaching sales associates, managing schedules, overseeing inventory and visual standards, and analyzing sales reports. You'll model Boscov's family-focused culture, build loyal customer relationships, and support long-term team development in a stable, growth-oriented retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the cosmetics and jewelry departments
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
• Coach, train, and motivate sales associates to achieve goals
• Create and manage employee schedules and task assignments
• Maintain merchandising, visual presentation, and signage standards
• Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and shrink control
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to drive department performance
• Ensure accurate cash handling and POS procedures
