ERP Implementation for distribution, wholesale or warehousing businesses?

Get full training in Acumatica ERP.

This growing ERP consultancy is looking for an experienced Implementation Consultant who understands stock, warehouse operations and the processes that keep a distribution business running. You will bring your ERP consulting experience and business knowledge, and receive full training in Acumatica ERP.

Why join?

You will join a friendly, supportive team of six Acumatica consultants, backed by dedicated project managers, developers and technical colleagues. People share their knowledge, help each other and take pride in delivering successful projects.

The consultancy won 13 new Acumatica clients in 2025 and continues to secure new business. With projects becoming larger and more complex, this is an opportunity to develop your consulting skills and build expertise in a growing cloud ERP platform.

The role

You will implement Acumatica for customers across the UK, predominantly in distribution, wholesale and warehousing, with opportunities to work across manufacturing, retail and logistics.

Typical projects involve around 50 days of consultancy services. You will take ownership of smaller implementations and work alongside consultants with finance, manufacturing and distribution expertise on larger projects.

Your experience

You will have a track record of implementing ERP or business software, with strong knowledge of distribution, wholesale or warehousing.

Your experience should cover several of the following:

  • Stock control and inventory management.
  • Warehouse management systems.
  • Sales and purchase order processing.
  • Supply chain processes.
  • FIFO and stock rotation.
  • Labelling, picking, packing and dispatch.
  • The relationship between distribution operations and finance.

You may currently work with Business Central, Dynamics NAV, SAP Business One, Sage 200, Sage X3, Intact IQ, Blue Yonder, OGL, Kerridge, Emax, Odoo, Enapps, Greentree, EFACS, OrderWise, Exchequer or another relevant ERP solution.

Previous Acumatica experience is welcome, but is not required. Training will be provided.

You will be comfortable working directly with customers, asking questions and translating business requirements into practical software solutions. You will also take pride in delivering a professional service, working collaboratively and keeping projects on track.

What's on offer?

  • Salary up to £55,000.
  • Home-based working, with two days per month in the Leicester office.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK.
  • Acumatica training and ongoing professional development.
  • Health benefits and pension after six months' service.
  • Support from experienced consultants and dedicated project managers.
  • The opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing ERP consultancy.
