Mid-Level Security Engineer [$252k/yr+] S with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.

Summary: • Perform information systems security engineering across multi-enclave networks and distributed architectures. • Execute DoD RMF system accreditation processes, NIST SP 800-53 security contr ol implementations, and DISA STIG compliance. • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk management across cloud-based and big data platforms. • Secure infrastructure utilizing Linux, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, and BASH scripting.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 9+ years • Total Compensation: $252k+ yearly Job Description: • Create, review, and edit system authorization documentation in accordance with federal policies. • Guide development teams to meet security posture requirements and resolve security-related findings. • Assess operational risks of integrated open source, COTS, and GOTS software components. • Utilize automated scanning tools, vulnerability management systems, and accreditation platforms such as eMASS and Xacta. • Interpret and apply DISA STIGs and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs). • Manage POA&&Ms, artifact generation, and security contr ol inheritance under NIST SP 800-53. • Apply knowledge of computer architectures, network topologies, and TCP/IP protocols to ensure robust system defense.

Telework: A hybrid work arrangement is supported with an average of one to two days per week on-site.
