Job Description

Join a hotel that is a member of the Accor network, whose group brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations. Here, we believe in you and what you bring to the table. There are many opportunities for development and advancement. Every gesture, every smile, every action, contributes to creating a positive and memorable impact for our customers, our colleagues and also for our planet. Together, we embody the vision of responsible hospitality.

Take the opportunity to become a Heartist®, and let your heart guide you in this world where life beats faster.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the preparation of food, assist with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, and ensure all kitchen duties are carried out efficiently and responsibly. This is an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of a professional kitchen while developing new skills within a fast-paced and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking duties as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, storage areas, and floors.
  • Carrying out washing up duties, ensuring all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment are cleaned and stored correctly.
  • Supporting the team with stock rotation, deliveries, and the safe storage of food items.
  • Ensuring all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures are followed at all times.
  • Taking responsibility for your own personal hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Assisting the Head Chef in maintaining the kitchen's compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Working effectively as part of the kitchen team to deliver excellent service to guests.

In addition to your kitchen duties, you will receive training to become a multi-skilled team member, enabling you to assist in other departments across the hotel when required. This role offers valuable opportunities for personal development, teamwork, and career progression within the hospitality industry.

We are currently owned by Fairview Hotels which we run under the Accor brand.
