Job Description
Title: Resource Coordinator
Contract Duration: 6 months
Office Location: 320 S Canal St, Chicago IL, but position will be fully remote- Fully remote, open to contractors in any state
Role Mandate
The Resource Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth, accurate, and timely transition from offer stage through to the first day for new hires. This position involves managing key activities such as requisition assignments, offer letter generation, and background screening, contributing to a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The role demands strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team Structure
Direct team of 7, with a broader team of 17. The work will be mostly independent, but there is a high degree of collaboration (especially during training) and team members are encouraged to reach out to each other when encountering issues.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting requisition assignments, offer letter generation, and monitoring background screening clearance
- Manage communications with internal and external partners to support the execution of program deliverables (e.g. Offer letter process; background screening, candidate or hiring manager follow-ups)
- Ensuring all requisitions are assigned (in Workday) within defined SLAs
- Manage the candidate and hiring manager experience (in Workday) throughout the post-offer process
- Execute on the end-to-end process of the offer letter and ensure all required reviews are completed and information is captured
- Investigate, resolve and follow-up regarding any Workday issues or errors related to offer letter or pre-employment screening process.
- Support the team with special projects as needed
Must Have Skills
- Typically, 1-3 years of relevant experience – less experience necessary if candidate has a relevant postsecondary degree
- Computer skills with Excel, Outlook, Microsoft 365 tools – intermediate
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time, escalating when necessary
- Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

- Influence skills - In-depth.
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous experience & demonstrated results in recruiting or sourcing
- Relevant postsecondary

Interviews
1-2 rounds with the HM or Client Program, 30 minutes over Teams
