About the Company

I'm currently working with a well established Fire & Security specialist that has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality engineering solutions across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth and an expanding customer base, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a varied role, working across a mixture of commercial sites with a stable workload, competitive package and genuine long term progression.

The Role

This is a field based position combining both service and installation work across a range of fire and security systems.

You will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding and installing systems while ensuring customers receive a high level of service and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and install fire alarm and security systems.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding.

• Diagnose faults and complete remedial works.

• Complete small works, upgrades and system modifications.

• Install and commission equipment where required.

• Work across fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.

• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.

• Provide professional customer support while on site.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer.

• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.

• Experience with manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Notifier, Gent, Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Hikvision or similar.

• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.

• Good understanding of relevant industry standards.

• Professional and customer focused approach.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• 40,000 - 45,000 Basic Salary depending on experience.
