Job Description
An established technology business specialising in cloud-based IoT, energy management and building automation solutions is seeking an experienced Trend BMS Engineer for an initial six-month contract. This fully remote role will involve managing, maintaining and optimising Trend building management systems while supporting customers and internal teams with technical issues, system performance and connectivity.
The successful contractor will configure and maintain IQ Vision, export data into other systems, analyse performance and recommend improvements. This is an excellent opportunity to work with innovative technology designed to help organisations reduce energy consumption, environmental impact and carbon emissions.

What you need
- Strong commercial experience working with Trend BMS systems
- Proven experience configuring and maintaining IQ Vision
- Experience using SET to maintain and manage Trend BMS environments
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and building automation
- Experience exporting Trend data into other platforms or systems
- Strong system-analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to identify performance issues and recommend practical improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A customer-focused and results-driven approach
- Previous exposure to Tridium, EDPAC, Modbus or BACnet would be advantageous
- Experience within facilities management or another fast-paced technical environment would be beneficial
- Must be based in the UK and able to work remotely for the duration of the contract
