About the Role

AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Retail & E-Commerce to support security operations and protect e-commerce platforms, online payment systems, and customer data. This role focuses on monitoring cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and securing retail applications and digital transactions. You will collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to maintain a secure and reliable online environment. Ideal for early-career cyber security professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security events and respond to cyber security incidents

  • Analyze security logs to identify suspicious activities and potential threats

  • Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation efforts

  • Support the security of e-commerce applications, payment gateways, and customer data

  • Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and best practices

  • Conduct security audits and compliance assessments (PCI DSS awareness)

  • Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to improve security posture

  • Maintain security documentation, incident reports, and technical procedures

Required Qualifications

  • 1 TO 3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related role

  • Basic understanding of network security, web application security, and cyber security principles

  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Protection

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

  • Understanding of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, phishing, and malware

  • Exposure to AWS or cloud security concepts

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
