Job description

Role summary: Design and release automotive fuel and evaporative-emission vapor valve components, support vehicle launch programs, coordinate testing, and ensure engineering deliverables meet customer timelines.

Must-have requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

  • Strong engineering fundamentals, physics, and technical problem-solving.

  • Understanding of engineering drawings, print tolerances, and GD&T.

  • Experience or knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, PVP&R, and product engineering deliverables.

  • Strong communication and customer/supplier coordination skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and lead engineering activities.

  • MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for engineering reports.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Pro/ENGINEER Creo or SolidWorks CAD.

  • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS).

  • OEM product development processes.

  • Creativity and technical problem-solving skills.
