QA Engineer Analyst Sr

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of IT products and services through the design, development, and execution of robust test strategies and automation frameworks. Collaborate closely with DevOps, SDET, business stakeholders, and PMO to integrate quality practices throughout the SDLC lifecycle. Drives continuous improvement by advancing automation, optimizing process, and enhancing quality standards using data-driven insights. Contributes to delivering scalable, resilient solutions by embedding quality engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.

JOB DUTIES

• Works closely with DevOps, Product Leads, and various stakeholders to thoroughly review and clarify requirements as well as accepted criteria. This collaborative approach ensures that quality standards are consistently met and helps clearly define the scope of testing.
• Designs and implement comprehensive QA strategies to support delivery.
• Defines, tracks and reports quality and testing metrics to leadership and stakeholders
• Drives continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies through data-driven insights and AI-powered capabilities to enhance quality and efficiency
• Supports CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests in the delivery pipeline

• Ensures software meets quality standards, requirements, and user expectations
• Contributes to continuous improvement of processes and methodologies
• Collaborates with DevOps, Product Leads, and Stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Participates in architecture and design discussions to ensure testability
• Advocates for best practices in quality assurance and automation
• Ensures proper root cause analysis for critical issues
• Promotes a quality-first culture and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
• Provides risk analysis, trend reporting, and solution proposals for risk mitigation
• Supports process improvement initiatives working with enterprise QA following Lean and Six Sigma
• Reduces waste, cycle time, defects, and rework across IT operations and delivery.
• Ensures consistent adoption of standardized processes across IT.
• Designs, develops, automates, and reports quality and process performance metrics, dashboards, trends, and actionable insights for leadership.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices, test automation, defect management, and quality metrics
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Ansible, Selenium, or similar technologies for testing and workflow/process automation.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (i.e. Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms, including integrating automated quality checks into delivery pipelines.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI, AI agents, or AI/ML capabilities to automate workflows, analyze data, generate insights, and perform quality/process validation.
• Hands-on experience developing interactive dashboards, KPIs, and operational/quality metrics using Power BI or comparable visualization platforms.
• Ability to implement automated controls for data completeness, accuracy, consistency, reconciliation, and metric integrity.
• Experience integrating automation and analytics with platforms such as JIRA, ServiceNow, qTest, SharePoint.

EXPERIENCE

• Requires minimum 5+ years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, MIS or related engineering field (Required) or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
