Lead Software Engineer

Location Newport Beach, California

Onsite 4 Days per week

Rate: $87-92 an hour

The role focuses on modernizing annuity policy administration platforms, involving AWS-based development, integration, DevOps automation, and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities include designing AWS data layers, building orchestration and integration services, establishing CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring developers.

Required qualifications include

8+ years of software engineering experience

4+years of AWS development

Experience with Java, Python, or another enterprise development language

Experience designing data ingestion, replication, transformation, reconciliation, and operational data processing solutions

Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deploying Infrastructure as Code

Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, networking, logging, and monitoring

Strong technical leadership skills.
