Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Deggendorf, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a leading player in the energy infrastructure sector, dedicated to advancing the energy transition across southeastern Germany. This innovative company is seeking a skilled technician to contribute to crucial substation projects, supporting the nation's climate protection goals. The Role • Commission and test electrical components and complete substation renewal and new construction projects up to 380kV. • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control systems, collaborating with expert teams to improve processes. • Program and parameterize high-voltage and medium-voltage protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Utilize advanced testing equipment to precisely commission digital protection and control technology. • Work collaboratively with project management, planning, and installation teams. • Contribute to projects in energy transmission, distribution, and the grid connection of industrial and renewable energy parks. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven experience and technical understanding of protection/control technology, with prior independent commissioning of switchgear. • Familiarity with common communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Proficiency with parameterization software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, Schneider MICOM S1) and testing software (e.g., OMICROM TestUniverse) is a plus. • Strong teamwork, responsibility, decision-making, and communication skills with excellent German proficiency. • Possess a Class B driver's license and be willing to travel regularly (typically Monday-Thursday).
