We are seeking dedicated Special Education Needs Tutors to join an organisation committed to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs by providing impactful, trauma-informed educational support. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference within your community, working flexibly to meet the needs of vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition (in-person, remote, or hybrid) to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Collaborate with schools and local authorities to support young people's educational journeys.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning needs.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Proficiency in teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Proven knowledge of safeguarding practices.
• UK residency with the right to work in the UK.
