Web Developer / Graphics Design Specialist with Security Clearance

Position Title: Web Developer / Graphics Design Specialist Location: Fort Hood, TX; White Sands Missile Range, NM Clearance required: Secret (Tier 3 / T3R investigation); interim Secret required before starting work.

Scope of Work: Develops and maintains ATEC intranet and public-facing websites and graphic interfaces, ensuring Section 508 and WCAG AA accessibility compliance and DoD publishing standards.   Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Develop and maintain graphic interfaces and websites using tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite
• Maintain ATEC, ATC, AEC, and OEC intranet sites using a Government-provided portal or web development technology
• Maintain public-facing internet sites in accordance with DoD policy and Army publishing standards, obtaining PAO approval and maintaining a change log
• Ensure all web interfaces meet Section 508 and WCAG AA accessibility standards
• Coordinate content updates with departmental content owners and subject matter experts and mitigate all vulnerabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software
• Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 / T3R)
• DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M baseline certification appropriate to the assigned work role and level, held prior to performance, with the required computing environment (CE) certification obtained within six (6) months of appointment.
