Job Description

Personal Assistant – 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant to join an established Executive PA Support team within the insurance and financial services sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised PA to provide senior-level administrative and secretarial support in a fast-paced environment. This is supporting within the Chief Risk Officer's direct reports and their associated teams so experience supporting CRO would be beneficial.


The Role

You will provide high-quality support to senior stakeholders and their wider teams, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing complex diaries and coordinating multiple meetings
  • Arranging extensive domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels and detailed itineraries
  • Coordinating committee papers and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Preparing meeting documentation and ensuring information is distributed to relevant stakeholders
  • Managing internal and external calls and enquiries
  • Processing and recording expenses accurately and promptly
  • Maintaining holiday, sickness and absence records
  • Organising meetings, venues, catering and other logistical requirements
  • Providing cover for other PAs and EAs across the wider team
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proactively identifying issues and using initiative to implement effective solutions


You will be confident working in a busy, professional environment and supporting senior stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant
  • Experience within insurance, financial services or a similar professional services environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing multiple diaries and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, can-do approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
