AS400 Synon Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: Dallas, TX preferred 
Mode: Contract

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced AS400 Techno-Functional Consultant with strong Synon expertise.
Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into AS400/iSeries solutions.
Provide functional analysis, application support, development, enhancement, and troubleshooting for legacy AS400 applications.
Strong hands-on experience with Synon, RPG/RPGLE, DB2/400, and CL/CLLE.
Analyze existing applications, identify issues, and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Participate in requirements gathering, impact analysis, design, testing, and production support.
Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand processes and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Support application enhancements, defect resolution, and ongoing maintenance.
Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, or insurance applications is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
