OP Specialist | Aachen, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Prepare for cardiothoracic surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are available and controlled.
  • Provide expert assistance and instrumentation during cardiothoracic procedures.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment and OP technology.
  • Support patients before, during, and after their operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all hygiene regulations within the OR.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors and anesthesiologists.

What You'll Need

  • Completed training as an Operating Room Technician (Operationstechnischer Assistent) or a Registered Nurse (Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger/Pflegefachkraft/Krankenschwester) with an OP specialization.
  • Solid experience in cardiothoracic surgery operating rooms.
  • Proficient in sterile technical procedures and instrument handling.
  • A responsible, organized, and team-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and dependability.
