We are looking for Solution Architect (Pismo on AWS) for our client in Charlotte, NC / Iselin, NJ

Job Title: Solution Architect (Pismo on AWS)

Job Location: Charlotte, NC / Iselin, NJ

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• 10+ years of solution architecture in banking or payments.
• Hands-on experience with Pismo or directly analogous core (Thought Machine Vault, 10x, Mambu).
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
• Deep expertise in event-sourcing, CQRS, Kafka/MSK, and ISO 20022.
• Secure-by-design and regulatory-grade engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Own the squad's target-state architecture on Visa Pismo and design the strangler layer to Hogan.
• Design solutions on Pismo Core Banking, Payments, and Corporate DDA modules.
• Architect the anti-corruption layer and dual-write integration with Hogan.
• Define API contracts, event schemas, and non-functional requirements ( 50ms FedNow latency, 99.99% uptime, FIPS-140 KMS).
• Make, document, and govern technical decisions; lead architecture reviews.

Nice to Have:

• Pismo platform certification.
• Prior strangler-pattern execution on a Tier-1 core migration.
