Our client, an Ecommerce (fortune 500), is looking to hire a Motion Designer III in Culver City CA.

Pay Rate Range: $45/hr to $55/hr on w2, depending on experience
 

Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects

Review of Business Group

The Motion Designer will support a leading entertainment and streaming organization in creating motion graphic design and animation creative for single title marketing campaigns, multi-title brand and streaming platform promotions.

Creating marketing materials for Originals titles in entertainment – movies and TV shows.

Doing graphic resizing.

Brand work – creating looks, streaming platform UI.

Purpose of the Team and Key Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for visually communicating the company brand aesthetics as they relate to video & digital marketing and content including trailers, TV spots, sizzles, brand promos and social pieces.
• Collaborate and execute creative and engaging design and motion that translates the company and show’s tone and message.
• Work with project and production management to ensure timely and affordable delivery of all creative.
• Translate project goals into creative concepts that position the platform and single title creative vision to consumers, marketing partners and internal audiences.
• Strive to ensure that all motion graphic design created are consistent with each other and within brand guidelines, on or off platform.
• Strive for creative excellence and creative innovation that will enhance the project’s profile, company brand and team spirit.
• Work closely with editors, creative directors, producers, and project managers to estimate and manage project budgets and schedules.

1. 5+ years of professional experience in motion design in streaming, film, television marketing.
2. Advanced skills in design and animation software/technologies.
3. Experience in Maya and/or Cinema 4D.

Portfolio: Worked for a streamer or agency.

• Strong style frames and typography skills, toolkits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities, deadlines, and daily time constraints.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in designing and creating multiple campaigns in print and on-air.

Nice to Haves

Top 3 Ranked in Importance

Current knowledge of AI tooling and applications for motion graphic design.

Preferred

• Experience leading creative development from concept to delivery.
• Experience navigating complex internal and external creative partnerships.
