Role Summary
This senior leadership role involves building and guiding a high-performing technology team focused on delivering application support and stability for specialized financial services. The position demands developing strategic approaches to technology management, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering modern Agile practices. The incumbent will play a key role in leading initiatives that promote operational resilience and organizational effectiveness within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight to a team responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) application production services, driving organizational and technical excellence.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business outcomes and regulatory standards.
• Ensure adherence to core processes such as incident, problem, change, capacity, event management, and service request fulfillment to sustain platform stability.
• Maintain robust engagement with senior stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, and front-line units to prioritize improvements and remedial actions.
• Manage solution delivery, application performance, and security in a production environment, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
• Lead financial planning, workforce strategy, and talent development initiatives, including performance management and mentoring of team members.
• Foster an inclusive, healthy work environment and resolve organizational impediments to support team productivity and morale.
• Support the creation and execution of the team’s technology strategy, including application resilience, data management, and DevOps practices.
• Cultivate strong relationships with business partners and within organizational communities of practice to promote effective collaboration.
• Ensure risk management, operational excellence, and compliance standards are integrated into day-to-day operations and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading technology support teams within a financial services environment.
• Proven track record of managing application production support and delivering operational resilience for regulated platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, Agile methodologies, and modern solution delivery practices.
• Demonstrated analytical and technical skills, with expertise in application support, security, and data management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Experience working in regulated environments, including conducting audits or regulatory remediation efforts.
• Ability to lead organizational change and foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS, risk management, cloud, or similar are preferred.
• Flexible work availability and eligibility to work in the specified location.

Publishing Pay Range: $140,000.00 - $215,000.00 Annually

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
