Role: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Role Purpose

Designs, automates, and maintains reliable and scalable infrastructure across cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance through advanced observability, incident management, and continuous improvement. Brings deep expertise in Terraform and Ansible, with additional specialization in one or more areas including Kubernetes, networking, Azure, OpenStack, Active Directory, Grafana, or Prometheus.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support highly available infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop automation to manage configuration, provisioning, and scaling of systems.
• Implement and optimize monitoring, alerting, and observability using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure reliability and performance in production environments.
• Drive incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement for system resilience.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
• Ensure adherence to defined security and compliance standards across infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong expertise with Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, cluster operations); Networking (cloud/on-prem connectivity, routing, troubleshooting); Azure or OpenStack (infrastructure management); Active Directory (identity/access integration); or Grafana/Prometheus (monitoring/metrics).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
