Electrical Engineer (power generation)

Hiring: Electrical Engineer – Power Generation
Location: Milwaukee, WI

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Background in power generation, conversion, or distribution systems
• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage systems (1kV–38kV), switchgear, transformers, and generators
• Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, UL, NEC/NFPA standards
• Expertise in power circuit design, protection, grounding, and EMC/EMI
• Electrical testing and validation expertise
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop power generation/conversion products
• Design MV distribution, protection, switchgear, and transformer systems
• Perform load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, and protection studies
• Develop and execute electrical test and validation plans
• Support manufacturing, certification, and product development
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring
