The Role:

  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and enriching Art curriculum that encompasses a variety of media and styles, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art.
  • Encourage students to explore their artistic talents and develop their own unique styles, providing guidance and support in their creative journeys.
  • Play an active role in the school's extracurricular programme, leading art clubs, organizing exhibitions, and supporting students in their artistic pursuits.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Art education.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of art history, theory, and practice, with experience in a range of artistic media and techniques.
  • Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the school's Catholic ethos and values.
