Job Description

Data Collection Admin Staff
Indianpolis,IN

Essential Functions

  • Research and collect relevant court documents.

  • Analyze and interpret the documents collected to extract necessary information.

  • Communicate and coordinate with local and state law enforcement agencies.

  • Enter and maintain accurate data within designated web portals and internal data systems.

  • Perform related administrative and data duties as assigned by division leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Broad experience with data collection, data entry, and records management.

  • Strong knowledge of state criminal codes and statutes.

  • Thorough understanding of correctional agencies, as well as all levels of the broader Criminal Justice System.

  • Experience and high comfort level navigating court documents and interpreting legal terminology.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

  • Ability to strictly maintain confidentiality while reading and processing detailed data containing sensitive material related to criminal offenses.

  • Ability to establish cooperative, professional working relationships with internal staff and external agency personnel.
