Occupational Therapist – Acute Care Hospital

3-Month Contract | Bronx, NY 10457 | $50–$54/hour

Blue United Sourcing is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a 3-month contract assignment in a hospital/acute care setting in the Bronx (10457).

This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and competitive hourly compensation in a fast-paced clinical environment. There is the possibility to extend to permanent placement upon completion of the contract!

Position Details

• Location: Bronx, NY 10457
• Setting: Hospital / Acute Care
• Contract Length: 3 months
• Start Date: 3/23/2026 (flexible)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $50–$54 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Address functional mobility, ADLs, cognitive skills, and discharge planning needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals and home strategies

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license (New York)
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed OT
• Acute inpatient experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
