Job Description
DevSecOps Engineer – TS/SCI – Tucson, AZ Our client is seeking a talented, tenacious, and results‑driven DevSecOps Engineer to develop advanced, secure cloud computing solutions that support complex national security and defense missions in signal processing, geolocation, and communications. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure powering mission‑critical applications at front‑line customer facilities—directly contributing to real‑world operational impact. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary R&D environment alongside electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and analysts, collaborating across the full system lifecycle from architecture and development through deployment, operations, and maintenance. This is a highly rewarding environment where you receive direct mission feedback, see your work make a measurable difference, and are encouraged to propose improvements to applications, frameworks, and security posture. Come join the team building the next generation of cutting‑edge signal processing and geolocation systems. Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain systems operations functions, including vulnerability patching, software updates, performance monitoring, and automation.
• Create and maintain documentation such as user guides, knowledge bases, change requests, and system maintenance records.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies—and experiment with new approaches to drive innovation.
• Work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration/testing, deployment, and O&M.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong self‑initiative. Required Background
• Experience with Linux system administration

• Experience installing and administering Kubernetes, Longhorn, and enterprise cloud applications
• Experience applying security implementation guides and maintaining compliance baselines
• Experience with system operations: patching, updates, monitoring, optimization, and automation
• CompTIA Security+ certification
