MDM Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MDM Data Engineer to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing operations of an enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MDM, data engineering, Python, REST APIs, data integration, and entity resolution.

The role will focus on integrating data from ERP, CRM, and other enterprise source systems, configuring MDM workflows, improving data quality, managing golden records, and supporting cloud data lake/lakehouse integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support MDM solutions across multiple business data domains.
• Develop data integration pipelines using Python, REST APIs, JSON, and ETL technologies.
• Integrate MDM platforms with ERP, CRM, field service, and other source systems.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, normalization, deduplication, and validation.
• Work with entity resolution, record linkage, and matching algorithms.
• Configure and maintain golden records, survivorship rules, attribute mappings, and data quality rules.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot integration and production issues.
• Support MDM integration with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Delta Lake, or other cloud data platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data governance teams, and business stakeholders.
• Document data flows, integration specifications, architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Support MDM platform upgrades, configuration changes, and production operations.
• Monitor data quality and matching performance and assist with model/rule tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, MDM, or Data Integration
• 2+ years of enterprise MDM experience
• Experience with Tamr, Reltio, Informatica MDM, or similar MDM platforms
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON
• Strong knowledge of ETL/Data Integration
• Experience with Entity Resolution, Record Linkage, Deduplication
• Experience with Golden Records and Survivorship
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise source systems
• Understanding of data quality and data governance concepts
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
