About the role

You will design, build and support business intelligence and system integration solutions that transform operational data from across Generation, LPG and Business Energy into meaningful reporting and analytics. Working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams, you will develop Power BI solutions, support Power Platform applications and build integration pipelines connecting operational systems with our data warehouse and Lakehouse environments.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards and associated gateway and refresh configurations.
  • Translate business requirements into effective Power BI and Tableau reporting solutions.
  • Develop and support Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint lists.
  • Build and maintain data integration pipelines using OriginFlow, Microsoft Fabric Dataflows and Lakehouse technologies.
  • Manage BI and integration changes through structured intake, backlog, testing and deployment processes.
  • Investigate data discrepancies across source systems, staging, data warehouse and reporting layers.
  • Document data lineage, integration designs and business rules to reduce key-person dependency.
About you

You will bring experience developing business intelligence and data integration solutions within a complex environment. You enjoy working directly with stakeholders, understanding their needs and turning operational data into practical solutions.

You will ideally have:
  • Experience building Power BI datasets, reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Service.Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint Online.
  • Strong SQL skills and an understanding of data warehouses and dimensional modelling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse concepts or another modern data platform.
  • Experience integrating systems through APIs, ETL/ELT tools or low-code integration platforms.
  • An understanding of source control and deployment pipelines.Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
