Job Description

Rehab United is a family-owned private practice specializing in physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage/wellness, and fitness. We provide services to seven clinic locations across San Diego County. Rehab United is seeking an OT who can improve the health and wellness of the patients in our Kearny Mesa facility for initial training and split time between Kearny Mesa and another clinic location based on clinic needs. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping our patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, as well as their environment and activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating hand therapy and neurological rehabilitation techniques

  • Educate patients and their caretakers on effective strategies for managing symptoms and improving outcomes

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and physical therapists, to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care

  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with company and insurance standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Occupational Therapy License - National registration and CA state licensure are REQUIRED.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, particularly of the upper extremity

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continued education

  • CPR/First aid certification required

  • Hand Therapy certifications desired

Compensation:

$36.00-$55.00 Hourly (commensurate with prior experience as a licensed therapist)

NOTE: FLSA status will transition from hourly non-exempt to salaried exempt following 90 days of employment, provided the criteria outlined in California's salaried exempt regulations is fulfilled.
