We're hiring on behalf of a global supply chain leader seeking an Intermodal Equipment Operator to manage the efficient movement of shipping containers. The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and safety.
• Drive hostlers to strategically position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Perform routine pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain clear communication with yard personnel and supervisors for efficient task coordination.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory; applications without one will not be considered.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and exceptional attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
