Senior Planner

Key Points

  • Location: Aldermaston (Full-time onsite)
  • Contract Length:18 Months +
  • Rate: ~ £60 p/h UMB
  • Active DV preferred
  • Active SC candidates willing to undergo DV will also be considered

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support a complex and high-profile programme within a secure environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Integrated Master Schedules, providing planning expertise to project teams, delivering schedule analysis and supporting effective programme delivery through robust planning and governance processes.

This role requires a proactive planner with strong Primavera P6 experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to drive planning best practice across multiple project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Deliver planning expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders
  • Produce accurate schedule forecasts and planning reports
  • Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and opportunities
  • Deliver Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and schedule performance reporting
  • Support project and business management teams with planning activities
  • Facilitate planning meetings and promote planning best practice
  • Ensure schedule integrity and compliance with planning standards
  • Support long-range integrated programme planning activities
  • Build effective relationships with Project Managers, Engineers, Scientists and wider stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes, systems and tools
  • Champion the value of planning across the programme
  • Maintain high standards of safety, security, quality and compliance throughout delivery
