Role Objective

To build and grow the pneumatic products business in Gujarat through distribution-led sales by developing OEMs, resellers, and end customers, and driving consistent revenue growth.


Education Required:

  • B.Tech (Mandatory), MBA (Preferred)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (regular travel across industrial clusters)


Experience: 5+ years of experience in pneumatics, industrial products distribution, or fluid power


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities for pneumatic products across regions such as Sanand, Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Bharuch, and pharma clusters
  • Build and manage relationships with OEM machine builders, resellers / dealers, and end customers
  • Drive sales through OEM engagement, reseller network, and direct industrial sales
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Identify and onboard new resellers, dealers, and OEM partners
  • Build a structured distribution network for market coverage
  • Manage enquiries, quotations, order closures, and customer follow-ups
  • Track competitors and identify pricing and positioning opportunities


Product Knowledge & Technical Capability

Candidate must have strong working knowledge across all major pneumatic product categories, including:

  • Cylinders (standard, compact, guided, rodless)
  • Directional control valves (solenoid, manual, mechanical)
  • Air preparation units (FRL - filter, regulator, lubricator)
  • Pneumatic fittings and tubing
  • Flow control valves and speed controllers
  • Air accessories (silencers, pressure switches, gauges)
  • Vacuum components (vacuum generators, suction cups)

Key Attributes

  • Strong hunting mindset and ability to build business from scratch
  • Good network with OEMs, dealers, and industrial customers in Gujarat
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • High ownership and execution focus

Key Deliverables

  • Build a pipeline of 50-100 active customers
  • Develop reseller / OEM network (10-20 partners)
  • Achieve 3-5 Cr revenue run rate
  • Establish strong presence across key Gujarat industrial clusters

Candidate should be able to:

  • Understand customer requirements
  • Recommend the correct product and part code
  • Cross-reference equivalent products across brands
  • Support customers in product selection and replacement
  • Experience working with OEM machine builders, End-customers or industrial resellers
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of pneumatic product portfolio and applications
