Job Description
We are recruiting a Senior Finance Partner to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the London/Surrey border on an initial 6 month contract, with likely extension. As the Senior Finance Partner you will work within the Commercial Finance team, providing critical financial insights and support to local and regional teams to drive business success. This role can offer 50% hybrid working.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Your duties as the Senior Finance Partner will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- As the Senior Finance Partner, you will lead the planning, preparation, and completion of all defined deliverables for assigned markets or business units, including forecasts, projections, and financial reporting.
- As the Senior Finance Partner, you will provide insights, metrics, and data analysis to support decision-making, performance reviews, and strategic planning.
- As the Senior Finance Partner, you will collaborate with local, regional, and global finance teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports and analyses within the team's processes.
- As the Senior Finance Partner, you will act as the primary point of contact for market FDs and finance colleagues regarding deliverables, requests, and escalations.
- As the Senior Finance Partner, you will support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to the development and implementation of digital tools and process enhancements.
- As the Senior Finance Partner, you will handle ad-hoc requests, manage workload effectively, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across functions and regions.
- A Degree or higher level in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accreditation or an MBA/Masters is preferred.
- Proven experience in Business Finance within a local or regional environment, with skills in reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Strong ability to communicate complex insights clearly and build relationships in a virtual, culturally diverse environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask, problem-solve, and deliver projects on time and to high standards.
- You will proactively drive process improvements, adapt to new technology, and work independently to meet deadlines and stakeholder needs.
