ServiceNow ITOM Architect

Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Architect (CMDB / Discovery / Service Mapping)

Location: Remote 

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect to lead and enhance enterprise CMDB capabilities with a strong focus on CMDB architecture, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM alignment, integrations, and data quality governance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on architect who can work directly with stakeholders while driving best practices across the ServiceNow platform.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow expertise.

• 5+ years of experience in CMDB Architecture and Data Modeling.

• 5+ years of experience aligning CMDB with Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.

• Strong experience managing CMDB data quality, governance, and integrations.

• Expertise in designing and maintaining a scalable and accurate CMDB supporting ITSM and ITOM processes.

• Experience integrating infrastructure, application, and asset data into ServiceNow CMDB.

• Hands-on experience with Lansweeper integration to automate physical device discovery and population into CMDB (servers, desktops, laptops, and software assets) is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of ITOM, Incident, Change, Asset, Event, Observability, and Risk Management use cases.

• Ability to collaborate with infrastructure, security, platform, and application teams.

Preferred Certifications:

• ServiceNow CIS – Discovery (Preferred)

• ServiceNow CIS – Service Mapping (Preferred)

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM Architect with strong implementation experience.

• Client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to drive CMDB strategy, best practices, and architectural guidance while remaining technically involved.
