Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions that power mission-critical contact center operations. This role will focus on building custom functionality, integrations, and automation within Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud while partnering closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions across a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and declarative platform capabilities.

· Develop and enhance applications within Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud to support customer service, case management, and contact center operations.

· Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, Five9, and other enterprise applications using REST APIs, platform events, and middleware technologies.

· Develop scalable automation, workflows, validation rules, and business processes that improve operational efficiency.

· Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

· Participate in solution design sessions, code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.

· Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.

· Support CI/CD processes and release management using modern Salesforce DevOps practices.

· Produce technical documentation for custom development, integrations, and application enhancements.

· Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and governance policies.

Must-Haves

· 5+ years of professional Salesforce development experience.

· Hands-on experience developing solutions within Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or other Government sector-related Salesforce cloud solutions.

· Strong experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Flows.

· Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using REST APIs, OAuth, and other modern integration methods.

· Experience supporting Salesforce Service Cloud Voice or enterprise contact center solutions.

· Experience developing custom applications, business logic, workflows, and automation within Salesforce.

· Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, permission sets, and role hierarchy.

· At least one current Salesforce certification.

Nice-to-Haves

· Experience integrating Salesforce with Five9 or other CCaaS platforms.

· Experience with Gearset or similar Salesforce CI/CD tools.

· Experience developing within greenfield Salesforce implementations.

· Experience with Omni-Channel, Service Cloud Voice, or Bring Your Own Telephony (BYOT).

· Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) or additional Salesforce Clouds.

· Additional Salesforce Platform Developer or Application Architect certifications.

· Experience working within healthcare, nonprofit, government, or other regulated industries.

· Experience mentoring junior developers and participating in technical design discussions.
