OCM Administrator
Quick Overview
Job Description
Job Title: OCM Administrator
Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-Site)
Job Type: Contract (Thru 6/30/27 with likelihood of extension)
Interview mode – Onsite
Visa Independent Candidates
We are seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Administrator to help build and execute a consistent, scalable change enablement approach across a portfolio of IT initiatives. This role is focused on organizational change management (adoption, readiness, communications, stakeholder engagement, and training enablement)—not IT change control, release management, or ITIL “change tickets.”
This is an onsite position supporting a collaborative project/program delivery organization. The ideal candidate brings practical OCM experience, can create reusable OCM templates and plans, and can adapt best practices to the realities of a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
· Partner with project and program leaders to assess change impacts and determine the appropriate level of OCM support (lightweight vs. full OCM).
· Develop and standardize OCM deliverables across project types, including:
· Change impact assessments
· Stakeholder analysis and engagement plans
· Communications plans and messaging
· Training and readiness support plans
· Adoption measurement / reinforcement approaches
· Create reusable OCM templates, playbooks, and planning artifacts to improve consistency across projects.
· Lead OCM activities on higher-impact initiatives; coordinate with project teams to integrate OCM work into delivery plans and milestones.
· Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders to gather input, build alignment, and drive readiness.
· Improve the organization’s ability to communicate and implement changes effectively across diverse groups.
· Operate with a “listen-first” approach—learn how the organization works, then tailor OCM methods to fit.
Required Qualifications
· Hands-on experience delivering Organizational Change Management (OCM) for enterprise initiatives (adoption/readiness/engagement), not primarily release/change control.
· Ability to translate ambiguity into structure: create practical OCM plans and templates that teams will actually use.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Proven ability to influence without authority and work effectively across multiple teams.
· Comfortable working onsite in Tallahassee, FL every day.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting IT initiatives (application, infrastructure, or platform projects) in a complex enterprise environment.
· Background in project/program environments (PMO, delivery teams, or cross-functional transformations).
· Public sector or highly regulated environment exposure.
· Familiarity with OCM frameworks and methods (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR or similar) and the ability to apply them pragmatically.
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
· Establish a baseline OCM approach and draft reusable templates (impact assessment, stakeholder plan, communications plan, readiness plan).
· Partner with project/program leaders to identify which active initiatives need OCM support and begin executing priority OCM workstreams.
· Improve consistency and quality of change communications and stakeholder engagement on key initiatives.
