Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced Senior CNC Lathe Machinist/Operator in Lafayette, LA. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC lathe setup and operation experience and be able to produce quality parts to print with minimal supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes
- Read and interpret machining drawings
- Select tooling and set offsets
- Troubleshoot machining issues
- Work with various materials and applications
- Inspect finished parts and ensure quality standards are met
- 5-10 years of CNC lathe experience preferred
- Y-Axis knowledge and HAAS ST35LY Lathe experience
- Haas CNC lathe experience is a plus
- Strong machining and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Quality-focused and detail-oriented
- Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM-11:00 AM
- Currently working 48 hours per week
- $25+/Hr. DOE based on skill level
